On Saturday 26 July, teams from Chelsea Centre for Gender Surgery (CCGS), TransPlus and the Trust came together at the London Trans+ Pride parade, marching through the capital. This event provides a safe space for those who are transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming along with many allies to celebrate trans lives past, present and future.

Stephanie Lynnette, Peer Support Worker and Patient Champion at CCGS, is the Events and Projects Manager for Trans+ Pride. She shares; “For me and for so many other people, it is a day of protest and of joy, liberation, and celebration. As a proud trans woman, working alongside the collective of 30 or so volunteers who put on this event every year is a privilege.”

Well done to all who attended and showed their support for our trans staff and service users.
