Mr Giuseppe di Taranto

Having earned his qualification in medicine and surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome, Mr di Taranto pursued further training abroad, immersing himself in the teachings of renowned institutions. He completed his training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Sapienza, University of Rome. Fellowships in Brazil, Taiwan, Japan, and the UK provided him the opportunity to train alongside pioneers in plastic surgery and learn state-of-the-art techniques in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.  

Mr. Giuseppe di Taranto is currently one of the lead consultants at the esteemed Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in central London, where he specialises in oncological and reconstructive procedures within the plastic surgery and gender-affirming surgery services. 

He has led numerous research projects and published articles in prestigious international journals, as well as several books. He holds a PhD from his work, focusing on innovative technologies for diseases of the skeleton and soft tissue with a particular emphasis on pioneering techniques for the treatment of lymphoedema and the use of adipose derived stem cells.
